If you are unable to reproduce it otherwise, then it actually was the
reason, because the bug when mc was taking over the permissions we
already fixed. Closing as invalid then.

Bug description:
  Binary package hint: mc

Hi,
when im running mc like root ( sudo mc ) and exit, setting is saved with root:root privileges. Next run when im running it like normal user, mc isnt able to save setting because isnt allowed to write into ~/.mc/ini
