I had a look at these bugs, and it seems there are much more of those
that can be possibly closed with the latest release. Did you have time
to make a comprehensive BTS scan so far or it was just a driveby?

What immediately comes to my mind for instance is that I had plans to
upstream the icons and some other things, like mc.ext modifications...

P.S. Judging from your e-mail you must be affiliated with FSF. Do you
have direct contacts with mc upstream for that matter?

There used to be a discussion which didn't really resolve into anything
with respect to the current legal status of mc and your involvement
could have probably been of help.
