NO, this is a silly idea. You cannot assume every person in the world
wants mediawiki as his main page. People can install several wikis and
CMS, and there is no way to preselect the one the user wants as main
page. With the provided apache configuration you've got a "/mediawiki"
path to access you wiki after install, this is really simple, and we
cannot break people's configuration to FORCE people have mediawiki as
their home page.
