	Hi all!

I have prepared a first mediawiki1.9 package. It should be reviewed and and
uploaded ASAP to either unstable or experimental.

Until then, you can have a try with the package available at:
http://www.rastageeks.org/~toots/mediawiki/

I have tested the package on my wikis, and the automatic upgrade on a fresh
mediawiki1.7 install. You may read README.Debian since it gives informations
on the include path that needs to be precised in order to allow
configuration files to be located in /etc/mediawiki1.9 (bug #409434)

On this location, you can also find my scripts for multisite installations
that have the good property to set up multisite wikis all based on the files
at /usr/share/mediawiki1.x, allowing a transparent upgrade on the same
version for all wikis.

They have been in production for many months now on my server and worked
great. The basic of this is to use Fuse to set up a mixed mount point for
each wikis that you want to set up, which mirrors the files located
at /usr/share/mediawiki1.x unless they are specified as customisable. In the
latter case, the files mirrored are located in a different place, specific
for each wiki.

You can download a package at the same location stated above. You need to load
the fuse module for this to work. Also, you may copy
the /etc/mount.d/mediawiki1.8 to a /etc/mount.d/mediawiki1.9 for using it
with a 1.9 mediawiki.

When the selective-loopback mount points have been mounted, you simply have to
configure your web server to point at the mount points for each wikis.
