The page is written from the perspective of an end-user, e.g. a
sysadmin charged with getting a wiki installed. I am not WMF staff,
just an interested volunteer.

The bit about Apache is notes on my bafflement at coming from using a
hand-compiled tarball version of Apache on Solaris to using the Ubuntu
10.04 distro version. We need similar notes on what Debian does with
MediaWiki, i.e. what gets put where, for the benefit of someone coming
from using the tarball and wondering where everything's gone.

The page is incomplete. It's a wiki, you know what to do :-)
