Yes, that’s the goal. We have several hundred Wiki instances here,
on almost twenty machines, and upgrading each manually will be more
than just a PITA. That’s why I’d like it when one installs a new
version of the Debian MW package, everything gets upgraded auto-
matically. From what I understand (Romain, Jonathan?) the “primary”
instance in a standalone MW installation will already do that?

Sure. My issue is not with packaging vs. developing, as I’ve dived
into the code myself often enough, but about volume and topics, i.e.
time invested.
