Have a peek at /etc/mediawiki-extensions/extensions.php from
the mediawiki-extensions-base package, on which you could depend:
it loads all configuration from files (symlinks, from mwenext) in
/etc/mediawiki-extensions/extensions-enabled/ and you could drop
a file into /etc/mediawiki-extensions/extensions-available/ (or
a symlink, like most do).

Did mediawiki-math ever do any automatic configuration? In FF,
I’m configuring it via the shipped LocalSettings file.

Thanks, you rock! Please do make sure to include all of the
patches we have in 1:1.15.5-10 from yesterday that aren’t
just backports (at least those that apply).
