Okay, I’ve made them now.

For mediawiki-core, the proposed debdiff is attached, but excludes
the addition of four debian/*.png files – these are just copied from
the package in sid. (They are required because the original files
shipped by upstream are non-free.)

The diff applies cleanly to the debian/ directory of an unpacked
mediawiki_1.19.5-1+deb7u1.dsc; when then moved into an unpacked
mediawiki_1.19.11+dfsg.orig.tar.xz the quilt patches also apply
cleanly. This is, nevertheless, a proposed debdiff; I’ll have to
do some more testing before it can be uploaded.

For mediawiki-extensions, the proposed debdiff is also attached.
I have not removed the files that are no longer shipped in the
binary package, to ease review (they will still be contained in
the source package, but that is not a problem for us, and like
this, the delta against stable is kept down). Same thing about
needing to test that more applies.

The version numbers are required to be like this because of the
maintainer scripts and package relationships that are needed to
track the change in pathnames for the mediawiki extensions. The
packages I propose will be cross-compatible with those currently
in sid (which means, the current jessie/sid mediawiki will work
with the proposed-stable mediawiki-extensions, and the current
mediawiki-extensions will work with the proposed-stable mediawiki
core package), the proposed-stable versions only lack some features
and less-than-RC bugfixes.

These debdiffs are for discussion and “approval to upload” only!
If they should be uploaded, I will commit them to SVN, including
a proper debian/changelog hunk, and only then upload.
