 doesn't seem to get looked at.]

Hi Marcelo, all,
I've prepared some Mesa 6.4.0 packages. I took the SVN tree, updated
it to 6.4, fixed a few FTBFSes, and merged in the Ubuntu changes.

http://people.debian.org/~daniels/mesa/

libdrm is also there, which was a slightly more obvious update.

Builds fine in a clean sid i386 chroot; haven't tested on amd64 or
ppc, but I'd imagine it'd be OK.

The most significant of these would be the renaming of packages, such
that:
  * mesag3 -> libgl1-mesa-swrast; ditto -dev
  * libgl1-mesa-dri -> libgl1-mesa; ditto -dev,
    + libgl1-mesa-dri now contains only actual DRI modules,
  * mesa-swrast-source: new package, contains source for swrast so the
    X server can build libGLcore against it.

So far it looks pretty solid, and upgrades are OK:
libgl1-mesa-swrast(-dev) is the only thing that provides
(mesag3|mesag-dev), so people who got swrast before, will continue to
get swrast now. libgl1-mesa was chosen because, when xlibmesa-gl
disappears, it will be the primary GL library for >99% of Debian's
userbase. I renamed its description to GLX, because it seemed a bit
more fitting.

I had to bump the Build-Dep on libdrm-dev, as via_drm.h changed
incompatibly.

That takes care of all my concerns; Mesa will build fine, and it brings
the Debian and Ubuntu packages very close together. The only
customisations we'll make on top of that will be to remove GLw and
DirectFB support.

Marcelo, if you don't have time, I'm happy to upload this myself and
shepherd it through the buildds to make sure it builds everywhere, etc.
If you have any suggestions or concerns, please let me know too. I'd
love to get this all in pretty soon, a) so we can get synced up and
happy, b) so gravity can do his modular server work without any
delay.

Cheers,
Daniel
