User-Agent and Debian version

        Hi,

I just noticed Galeon has a patch to display the Debian package version
number in the "about:" page and in the User-Agent. The "about:" page
is not directly accesible from the UI, one has to type "about:" in the
URI bar, so it's not very useful, and the User-Agent is only seen by
 web server.

I'm not sure it's a good idea to expose "Debian" in the User-Agent,
sure it's nice and displays Debian here and there, but it's also
information on the users' systems that one might want to hide. (And
it's a small patch to maintain).

What do you think of this, and what do you do in your packages?

   Bye,
