iceweasel 17 and per-domain cookie rules

hey folks--
i recently upgraded from iceweasel 16 to iceweasel 17 via the
experimental repo (i386). my basic workflow is that I default to
declining all cookies, and i adjust that setting per-site via
right-click/view page info.../permissions/Use Cookies.
Since the upgrade, i notice that my heavily-used profile seems to have
forgotten which sites i have granted exceptions to. They are all set to
"Use Default", which means no cookies are being retained.
Is this something that could have/should have been dropped by the
version upgrade?
