Can you gentlemen point me in the right direction?

Hi Daniel and Team,

Thanks for correcting me about gender. Point taken on board and I'll
endeavour to be more careful in future. On that subject, I do actually
appreciate the irrelevance of gender. I do hereby offer my sincerest
apologies to anyone I may have offended.

I have been using http://mozilla.debian.net/ for quite a while now, as I
need to maintain the latest version of either browser. Most of the time I
use Iceweasel, howvever, when Firefox upgrades, I use that until Iceweasel
from http://mozilla.debian.net/ is at the same version. Once Iceweasel at
the same version is available, I generally (and prefer to) go back to
Iceweasel. If I happen to be a away for a few days when Firefox upgrades,
I can then simply upgrade Iceweasel when I carry out my update checks via
Aptitude. If I'm home when the upgrade occurs, I'll install Firefox and
run that until Iceweasel is ready...not my preferred way of doing things,
but I've streamlined the process now. It was after the first time that I
installed Firefox that I noticed the difference at the same version.

I've had a look at the site you recommended ( https://wiki.debian.org/Iceweasel
). Unfortunately it does not answer my question about why [ xulrunner ], &
[ libmozjs ] are included in the default Iceweasel install and not in the
standard Firefox install :-))

At the end of the day, I guess I won't bleed to death not knowing, however
I will remain in a perennially curious state (read; "burning with
curiosity") until I can elucidate why :-)) Naturally, I'm hoping that one
of you will at least, put me out of my misery :-))

Yes for sure; Mike does a great job, and I often wonder if he gets enough
sleep with all of that good work. As I said in the last email, I'd offer
to help if I weren't such a beginner, and if I had a reliable routine.

Thanks again in the interim,
Yours truly,
Brian.
