lost menu in Iceweasel to Firefox transition

Maintainers,

I seem to have lost my menu entry for the browser in the last week or
so.

Debian 8.5
JWM 2.1.0
Firefox ESR 45.3.0
/etc/apt/sources.list contains deb http://security.deb.org/
jessie/updates main
system regularly done sudo aptitude upgrade and safe-update

jwmrc/debian-menu does not contain a line for web browser; I have tried
editing it in, but it disappears whenever I do a purge and reinstall
and/or an update-menus.

Searches on the problem haven't turned up anything except that I
learned that Iceweasel is gone.

I don't know enough about menus to know where else to look. What am I
missing?
