This is because you added overrides for the *source* package, while you
should apply them to the *binary* package. The file should be named
debian/octave-stk.lintian-overrides. And I think you should also remove
the "octave-stk source: " prefix on each line.

This is usually not a cause for concern. It indicates overlinking, which
is harmless.

Yes.

This message appears in the build log of many octave-* packages. So I
think it is not a serious issue, though it would be good to understand
why it comes in the first place.
