Sure, I was aware of it. However it does not reference a bug number or issue
it addressed making backtracking to the problem it fixes so much harder :)

As you and both don't seem to know, why don't we stop conjecturing and wait
for Manuel to sort this out, ok ;-) ?

99autoconf is a diff, so some things _are_ being changed and I still don't
understand why you say it doesn't matter whether it is applied or not. But
maybe I just didn't have enough coffee yet.

I am curious how the autobuilder will fare with the package once it is out of
NEW.
