Full ACK. This should be an upstream change.

Hope so. Besides the recent NMU to experimental, there wasn't an upload
in two years, to I'd call it unmaintained. The last upstream version was
released ago and as the webpage [1] states, one should switch to
OpenMPI. Maybe we should work out a plan to get all remaining packages
depending on LAM to work with OpenMPI and later get LAM removed. I
currently have no idea how much work that will be, actually. Of course,
the LAM maintainer should be contacted first, if we decide to go that
way. (Which I think is reasonable.)
