Same here, haven't done a thing.

Renaming is tricky. I much like my Debian environment to be just like
upstream or other distro -- otherwise you end up having to branch segments in
Makefiles where you use code across platforms/distros etc which is a
pain. Principle of least surprise and all that.

So if the linker plays tricks with us, then maybe we should just warn in
postinst or something.  Otehrwise, playing nice with LAM is (IMHO) a
non-issue os this project will eventually replace LAM everywhere.

|  0. Though upstream is very responsive and supportive, I don't think not
| playing well with LAM will convince them. LAM is deprecated and most of
| the LAM people are hacking OpenMPI now.
