[Pkg-osg-devel] Development branch for 2.9.10

Hi,

this is just to say that I created a branch for the latest developer
release, 2.9.10 some days ago. I have started from 2.8.3 and made
several self-contained changesets for every change in order to be able
to cherry-pick them from other branches like the trunk if necessary.

Next step will be incorporating James' changes, which shouldn't take too
long. After that, I think we will be ready to upload our first
experimental package.

Feel free to comment the style or anything you wish.
