[Pkg-osm-maint] dapal missing and updates

I use josm monthly so I care about its future in Debian. I know Java but
have not done any Java packaging yet. However, I'm willing to learn and
help you with the packaging. If I'm confident with the results I'm of
course also happy to sponsor the uploads now and probably also in the
future (at least as long as I keep using OSM myself).

What's your background wrt. OSM and Java and Debian?
