There is a Memory leak in php. It is described in
http://bugs.php.net/bug.php?id=39438

Because of this bug typo3 and wordpress aren't working correctly

There is a Patch in the CVS of PHP and the error only sows up with
php5.2.0 and no with php5.1.6
