What does look promising?  That we will have to maintain yet another
mysql library which (furthermore) is not reusable anywhere else?  And this
is also yet another place for (security) bugs (possibly same as in libmysql,
possibly different).  And also I don't feel like packaging every experimental
bit of code which emerge around.  So let's wait and see, the page doesn't
give any compelling reason for packaging this.
