For that please file a RFP (Request For Package), see:

Please note that in order to get it back in the archive the person who steps 
up must prove that she/he knows the  code and is willing to maintain it in 
the long run. I honestly don't think anybody will step up, since the 
situation hasn't changed, as far as I can see, regarding upstream 
maintenance.
