You still don't get it I believe...

Adding a version there is useless because that is
not a Depends:, so apt wont care about it!

IMHO it is fine to put these as Depends, but please
check that versions are really needed, some might
not even be in Debian anymore. It would be useless
to add a version Depends if it is already the
minimum available in Lenny.
