The patch sent in by Andreas looks fine and I'm happy to commit it to CVS 
upstream.

What's the best option - put the patch into the debian package only or have a 
new 0.6.1 release upstream?

I have a couple of other fixes in CVS and I can make a 0.6.1 release this 
weekend if that fits in OK with you.

How urgent is it to fix this bug?

(It's a bug that's been in QOF since 0.5.0 - before I started - it only got 
revealed because I moved QOF to -Werror for 0.6 and therefore the build 
halts.)
