Hi,
when installing the paraview package on my Debian/Unstable, I did not
find back the program in the menu, which might be helpfull. As I have
some minor understanding of deb packaging I'll attach a menu file which
has to be included in debian/
The program's icon paraqlogo.ico is included when compiling paraview,
but is not find somewhere in /usr/share. So displaying the icon in the
menu will probably fail. Funny detail: it is correctly displayed in the
window selector of Gnome.
Something else:
when using my application Gpiv, it needs libhdf5-serial, while paraview
will substitute this library by libhdf5-openmpi. Is there no way these
two package can co-exist on the same system?
Greetings, Gerber
