Thanks very much for the files. I am currently very busy, so you can
help us even more if you send Christophe your alioth account so that
you can access our svn repository and just commit those files yourself
and try to build the package. Basically you just need to tweak the
debian/rules file to properly copy your menu files to the correct
location.

Unfortunately paraview takes a lot of time to build, so I don't have
time right now to experiment with it. But if you get something
working, I'll surely upload it.

Christophe, others, if you have more time, feel free to fix it. :)

Seems like a problem with libhdf5-serial that it conflicts with
libhdf5-openmpi, no? Basically, we could of course compile paraview
against the serial hdf, but if that means that paraview will stop
working in parallel, then I think we should not do it. I don't see any
other solution. Others, any ideas here?
