i could do this. I've already created some simple packages (for personal
use) - so I know the basics about building packages.
a experimental 1.3 package would be nice, since it gives more users the
chance to easily test-drive the new version.

I haven't found the following CPAN packages in debian lenny repository:
Test::Trap
OpenOffice::OODoc
Excel::Template
MooseX::Param
Excel::Template::Plus
Template::Latex

yes dbconfig would be really nice, as fideling around with the sql files
is not what people like. :)
