Darco, could you elaborate a little on the background of the current
module loader? Why did you choose to implement a module loader instead
of build-time linking with libsynfig? Was it to support third-party or
custom modules without requiring access to the then-closed source?
Something else?

(Just asking to record history, maybe it'll be useful to know if someone
decides to do a rewrite. It's also of relevance when thinking about
licensing.)
