If I read <URL:http://alioth.debian.org/projects/pkg-tpctl/>
correctly, it can only be done by Martin F. Krafft.

Perhaps more people should be added to the project?  I can be added,
if it is interesting, but am will mostly help with sponsoring on
request.

PS: I suspect the deadlines you come up with are unlikely to result in
  an improved state of the package.  :)
