I have just installed a system with squeeze, and the command vim is

$ vim
bash: vim: command not found

$ls -1 /usr/bin/vi*

$ls /etc/alternatives/vi

$ls /etc/alternatives/vim
ls: cannot access /etc/alternatives/vim: No such file or directory
