Dis-"allow"ed; also, lists don't need to weasel at both ends (it's
either "includes A, B and C" or "consists of A, B, C and others").
How about:

 VirtualBox is a free x86 virtualization solution allowing a wide range
 of x86 operating systems such as Windows, DOS, BSD or Linux to run on a
 Linux system.

I take files like _netbsd.h as evidence that there's no special
significance to the particular BSDs listed.  Anyone feel like
arguing for "GNU/Linux" instead of "Linux"?  Or for suggesting a
specific distro ("Windows, DOS, BSD or SUSE Linux")?
