by the way:

1. backports package bugs should be reported to the debian-backports
mailing list [1][2][3][4]

2. your backports version of virtualbox-ose is outdated as
3.2.4-dfsg-1~bpo50+1 is the latest [5]

3. that version probably won't fix your bug based on the previously
mentioned [6] upstream bug report [7]

4. you can email the backports package uploader [8][9] asking if he would
upload a newer version (like 3.2.10-dfsg-1 as it is already in
squeeze/testing and might fix your problem)

5. in this case you probably don't need to email him as he is one of the
comaintainers of the virtualbox-ose debian package [10] and should see
this bug report thread

5. i presume you haven't pinned lenny-backports to get automatic upgrades
for backports [11]
