See the commands list_networks and get_network

Use the command scan_results. The output is very similar to wpa_gui,
because they use the same mechanism: the control interface and nothing
else. Note that you cannot use the ap_scan command, because I backported
this feature only to wpa_cli, and not to wpa_gui.

Do you want to achieve anything in particular or do you just bitch
around for the sake of it? How about becoming productive and help to
implement a generic roaming solution on the basis of wpasupplicant?
