Hi guys :) I hope we can cooperate efficiently.
Kel, many thanks for trying for this so hard.

Nice work, thankfully I hadn't made any other changes on my tree :-)
As you can see, I already did my first commit.

I'd really like to see Jouni commenting on this patch before uploading
it to Debian. I know it's trivial, but I think we shouldn't derive from
upstream for no good reason. Past experience has showed that Jouni
comments on the mailing list in batches, so we just have to wait a bit.

You might want to see piuparts, it helps a lot in this area.

Great! I'll test in on a box of my own tomorrow.

Hm, I wonder why wasn't this done a long time ago. Good catch ;-)
Kyle & Reinhard, are you interested in maintaining hostapd?
I am going to add Kel to the uploaders, that's for sure.
But should I "transfer" the maintainership to "Debian/Ubuntu
wpasupplicant/hostapd Maintainers", or should I keep it? What do you think?
Are you going to do more work on 0.5.4-1? If not, I am going to upload
this as soon as Jouni reviews your pid patch.
Thanks again for your work,
Faidon
