The thing is, I don't have a testsite here, so I cannot actively test
hostap on my side. So I don't think I can actively 'maintain' the hostap
package. However, I'd happily help with triaging bugs and fix obvious
things in the SVN. But anyway, implementing a hotspot solution, perhaps
based on hostap was on my todo list anyway, perhaps I can find some time
to setup hostap :).

About the Maintainer field: the main point in switching in the
wpasupplicant package was so that all bug traffic and upload email
traffic go to this list, so yes, I think it is still a good idea to
change it for hostap as well!
