thunar is synced ok. exo is not because previous exo release was 0.3.1.1 but
in debian it was still called 0.3.0svn preventing me to override a previous
svn snapshot.

I said  'Besides being informative for the user ...' . That's not how I
start something I want to insist on.
And yes I dwelled upon that for the rest of the paragraph precisely so it
does not sound like
'change this because I need it in ubuntu'.  I took the time to explain that
the reason was not that
I packaged exo-0.3.1.4knuth_rulez and now I want you to bend over backwards
and work that around for me :)
