Note that it's a plugin with a quite small potential userbase, and which
require special hardware. We already have such plugins (radio or
cellmodem plugin for example), and it's difficult to maintain them when
you don't have the hw for that. So I guess it's ok to have it but if
it's too broken in the long term, the best idea would be to drop it.

That said, for this one I have the hw (but don't use hdapsd) so I guess
I should be able to debug if needed.

Ho and btw, be careful with GPL3+ because xfce4-panel is GPL2 only iirc.
