I have the same behavior here. Iceweasel and Icedove do appear in the
session tab however some other applications do not (Geany and
Transmission in my case)
If this helps, everything was working fine before the following upgrade:
Commandline: apt upgrade
Install: systemd-shim:amd64 (6-3, automatic)
Upgrade: xfce4-power-manager-data:amd64 (1.2.0-3, 1.2.0-4),
whiptail:amd64 (0.52.15-3+b1, 0.52.17-1), libnewt0.52:amd64
(0.52.15-3+b1, 0.52.17-1), xfce4-power-manager:amd64 (1.2.0-3, 1.2.0-4),
xfce4-session:amd64 (4.10.1-5, 4.10.1-6), gparted:amd64 (0.18.0-1,
0.19.0-1), python-debian:amd64 (0.1.21+nmu3, 0.1.22), lightdm:amd64
(1.10.1-2, 1.10.1-3), liblightdm-gobject-1-0:amd64 (1.10.1-2, 1.10.1-3)
Best Regards and thanks for taking good care of Xfce in Debian, this is
much appreciated,
Nicolas
