Moderate the pkg-xiph-maint mailing list for non-subscribers?

Hi John.
Did you consider changing the mailman configuration for the
pkg-xiph-maint mailing list to require non-subscribers to be moderated,
to avoid the flow of spam to the list to reach its subscribers? Some
Debian addresses can be added to the white list to avoid having to
moderate those, but that is just to same some work on the moderation
task.
If you install the listadmin package from Debian and create a file
~/.listadmin.ini with content like this, the moderation task become a
lot quicker. I moderate around 50 lists in less than two minutes every
morning myself.
username your at user.name
spamlevel 23
default discard
discard_if_reason "Posting restricted to members only. Remove us from your mail list."
password secret
adminurl https://{domain}/mailman/admindb/{list}
pkg-xiph-maint at lists.alioth.debian.org
Please consider doing this to get rid of the spam in the mailing list
archive.
