Yep, that's true...

Well, how about a weekly/monthly reminder which checks for open bugs of
packages where pkg-zope is set as "Maintainer:" and posts a brief
summary to this list? Someone (e.g. me) checks if he can handle the bugs
by himself or asks explicitly for assistance.

Does anyone know other teams manage all this?

I'll have a look at those packages and post a summary of open bugs and
maybe a recommenendation for removal.
