[Popcon-developers] Bug#241383: popularity-contest: emailed reports bounce
James R. Van Zandt
"James R. Van Zandt" <jrvz@comcast.net>, 241383@bugs.debian.org
Wed, 31 Mar 2004 21:55:43 -0500
Package: popularity-contest
Version: 1.14
Severity: normal
The mail it tries to send bounces. I don't understand the bounce
message. That is, I can't tell whether it's the comcast SMTP server
or the Debian server that "requires valid sender domain".
Or maybe this is some kind of configuration problem here (though
other outgoing email is being sent fine).
This may be the same as bugs #229539 and #229856.
Anyway, this kind of thing could conceivably be distorting survey
results.
