[py3porters-devel] Porting of apt-listchanges to Python 3

Hi everyone,

Upstream, is Python 2 support still wanted/preferred for apt-listchanges? The last commit in my GitHub repo may have broken support with it. If not, I'll see if I can clean up the code and remove the Python 2-specific parts from it sometime soon.

Right now, the debian/rules in my branch only builds one Python 3 package.

There are 5 packages that depends on apt-listchanges:
  apticron
  amavisd-new
  cyrus-common
  design-desktop
  education-common

None of them depends on python; so we can be assured
they don't access the .py modules in apt-listchanges dirrectly.

I guess that means you can just rip-out Python2 compatibility
for this application; if it's not needed for anything.

I didn't even knew there was a gtk front-end...
because this was never added to the french translation of the man page.
(#!*%, I'm just tempted to mount /usr/share/man/fr on a tmpfs now)

Can you also change this in your port ?

"gtk       Spawns a gtk window to display the changelogs. Needs python-glade2, python-gtk2 to be installed."

Here is already a translation:
"gtk      Ouvre une fenêtre pour afficher les modifications. Il est nécessaire que $(package1) et $(package2) soient installés."
