Hi Dirk!

Great job you're doing with Quantian. I can't wait to see OpenMosix 2.6 
finished and included in a new kernel on the disc. I haven't downloaded THe 
new version yet, but are you using the debian hmmer package? It is not very 
up-to-date (v2.1.4) as compared to the one over at http://hmmer.wustl.edu/ 
(v2.3.2), which is quite much faster in all respects that I've encountered.
