[Reportbug-maint] Bug#698332: reportbug: Crash when typing package name too quickly

To reproduce:

1. At the screen where you enter a package name.
2. Type in the name of the package quickly (ie: reportbug)
3. Press enter (before reportbug can look up the name of the package and
populate the drop-down list).
4. reportbug crashes as below:
