i think features are a part of the language. this could be found out at 
the languge website, if somebody is interested.

the safety (not security, unless the language has builtin crypto :-) on 
the other hand, is something that is related to the test. some languages 
can turn off safety features, and thereby increase performance, on a 
particular test.

this is already done. a special feature is listed on the main page.

the compiles to native code feature.

you do not think this is a case of ''force our views onto other 
people''.  Peter Hinely is only asking for the same thing that you have 
already done. be a little charitable, please.
