Actually, my comment in this thread was not about there being an
iterative version of the test. Instead, it was about highlighting the
"alternate submissions" section as a place to show implementations
that are nice, but don't really fit into the rules of the Shootout.

The Tcl/Ackermann/Iteration combo was only one example of that.Another
example might be an implementation in Perl using CPAN. While CPAN
isn't part of the core Perl language, it is common to use it in
practice. As such, it would be a perfect candidate for the alternate
implementations section.
