[Splashy-devel] Bug#497118: splashy: still does not work with console-setup

Package: splashy
Version: 0.3.10-2
Severity: important

Just installed 'splashy' and got an issue very similar to the closed
bug #405235. Splashy fails when the console font is setting up,
leaving a unresponsive text screen, and only way to continue booting
is 'Alt-SysRq-E'.

Looks like there was some fix
concerning '/etc/init.d/console-screen.sh' script
from 'console-tools' package, but 'console-setup' has its own script
(/etc/init.d/console-setup), which does basically the same thing, and
starts immediately after 'console-screen.sh'. Workaround mentioned in
#405235 seems to work.

If there is no way to make these packages work together,
maybe 'console-setup' should be marked as a conflicting package?
