Hi all,

Splashy does not start anymore directly at boot as posted
in http://bugs.debian.org/cgi-bin/bugreport.cgi?bug=505291
The reason was that it breaks swsusp.

The solution was to move Splashy down in the initramfs scripts
from
/usr/share/initramfs-tools/scripts/init-top/
to
/usr/share/initramfs-tools/scripts/local-premount/

In my opinion this totally defeats the existence of Splashy.
*Now only 80% of the boot-time is covered by Splashy*

Moreover, for cryptsetup users like myself, the password has to be typed
in an ugly screen.

Very strange solution!?

Rob
