[Splashy-users] Splashy on Ubuntu Dapper 6.06?

Hello,
I'm looking for an alternative to usplash in Ubuntu Dapper, and found the
splashy project and would like to try it. I'm running on amd64, and have a
hard time getting Splashy to work.

I have searched with google and tried compiling from source, but no luck. Do
you have any suggestions how I do to install Splashy on Dapper 6.06?
