The latest release of Splashy will not compile under Dapper. The reason is
that we need libdirectfb .25 or up.
You might be able to get an already compiled version (packages.debian.org)
that already works with Dapper. This is because Splashy is usually compiled
statically, as it requires to work before /usr is mounted on many systems.
The other solution would be to backport libdirectfb from the latest version
of packages.debian.org or archive.ubuntu.com. And then get the latest source
code of Splashy from the subversion repository.
